The company I-SKILLS (Skills Certification Company S.A. | I-SKILLS S.A.) was founded in early 2007 with the aim of offering a full range of certification services in the field of education and vocational training (educational content of programs, certification of knowledge and skills) for individuals and companies in Greece and neighboring countries.

It was founded by renowned institutions, scientists and industry professionals with significant European experience in education and vocational training and aspires to become one of the main certification bodies in Greece and South-Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean.

The company, through partnerships with major institutions from Europe and other regions of the world, in the field of education, training and certification, develops certified educational content for training programs and supports the certification of knowledge and skills acquired with corresponding standards, which it develops or represents for the field of continuing vocational training of unemployed and employees, in the context of lifelong training – education.

I-SKILLS S.A. gradually covers the whole range of professional knowledge and skills e.g. computer use, culture, tourism, IT, sales and marketing, personnel development as well as sectoral business practices in health, environment, insurance and banking, technical professions.

Assisting it in this effort is both the network of training and certification partners in Greece and abroad and the Certification Council, which has been established by prominent personalities and representatives of scientific and relevant professional bodies and which will have executive oversight for the certification scheme of the organization.

The Certification Board of I-SKILLS S.A. specifically for the awarding of IT certificates, shall also have the responsibility for the development and maintenance of the scheme for the certification of persons in computer skills in accordance with the process outlined in the organisation’s Quality Manual.
